He Looked Like A Man Until He Barked, tells the story of lies, betrayal,and infedelity. There were many issues involved, and good Christian values were instilled. I can say the story started out good, but somewhere it took a turn from the story and told more from a narrative point, instead of letting the characters play the part, and keeing the reader engrossed. There's lessons to be learned for the male and female throughout this novel, and I'm sure belong the way the reader will pick up quite many.

WOW! What a pleasant suprise...a socially relevant story for everyone. Witty and thought provoking. I was sucked in by page 9 and could not put the book down! Highly recommended!
I really enjoyed He Looked Like A Man, Until He Barked by Patriece. I thought it was very on point and insightful. The characters were everyday people. The situations were realistic. It was like listening to a hurting girlfriend over coffee. I prioritized this read, just as I did her other book. When Somebody Loves You Back. I'm waiting for the next one!
Coming from the Bay Area author Patriece hits on all the issues of love, loss, lies and forgiveness. Was Troy a player or did he play himself or was he just another dog that barked? The character in "He Looked Like A Man Until He Barked" are everyday people that readers can relate with. You willl see many faces of men and women in this novel.
